1. Why should I create an organization?

An organization is made up of a group of members. So you have to first create an organization to:

1. Add and manage users
2. Create groups with your organization members
3. Add, configure and manage your domains
4. Manage applications and mail accounts, etc.

2. How do I create an organization?
Its very simple to create an organization in Zoho Business.
To Create an Organization

1. Click the Create Organization link given at the top of the main page.
2. Enter a Name for the organization in the respective text field.
3. Click on "Create Organization" button.

Your organization is created.

3. What is the importance of Groups?
Groups are created to effectively share documents, notes, calendar events, assign tasks, etc. Zoho Business provides two types of groups:

1. Organizational groups- groups created within an organization
2. Personal Groups- groups created with Zoho Business users belonging to other organizations

4. How can I create Organization Groups in Zoho Business?

1. Create an Organization

4. Create group to create Organization groups

5. How do I create Personal groups in Zoho Business?

Click on Groups->Personal Groups->Create New Group

1. Provide the Group Name

7. Domain validation issues?

After having added your domain to Zoho, click on the verify option to validate your domain. When you receive the domain verfication code please copy without the html tags. This is the most common mistake made and if the code is copied along with the html tags the domain will not be verified. For more on how to validate domains click here.

8. Why should I validate my domain?

Domain validation is imperative for the following functions:

• To add/import users to your organization
• To receive domain based emails

9. How do I delete apps in Zoho Business?

To delete any apps integrated in Zoho Business:

1. Click Settings
2. Select Applications
3. Delete the app not required

Can I delete a user from my organization?
There is an option to permanently delete user from the account. When deleting a user from the organization the following happens:

1. All his data is deleted that includes his mail, documents, shared docs, wiki, tasks and other data.
2. Since most of the Zoho applications fall under SSO, all the data from the other apps will also be deleted.

Therefore, the admin has to be very sure that he is deleting the user. He can alternatively, disable the user if needed.

Closing your Zoho Business account

How do I delete my Zoho Business account?
To delete your Zoho Business account, you will have to first delete the Organization that you have created.
Access Control Panel->General-> Others->Delete Organization

After deleting the Organization, please relogin and then access <<accounts.zoho.com> > and Close Account.
